MOJO 127 / Olympics...USA!

I've been enjoying the Olympics this past week and thought I'd use some of my CTMH paper to celebrate the achievements of our athletes. So, red, white, and blue became the theme. I hope to visit relatives in Norway within the next year, so this card will go with me as a thank you note for their hospitality. I cheer them on in the Olympics too!

MOJO 124 Very Yellow!

Those of us who live in cold, winter climates need to break out once in awhile with sunny, warm colors, and that's what I chose to do with this design. So, yes! I had a few moments of feeling like spring! I tend to avoid stamping sentiments on the outside unless I know the card will be used immediately, so I'll add that to the inside once I know how it'll be used. I hope you enjoy the sunny card too!

MOJO 123 Easter and All Occasion

I didn't follow directions as carefully as the rest of you, but this just seemed to work for me this month. It was great fun having a different shape to use!
The yellow sample is made with PROVO paper and the teal is with CTMH paper. Ribbon in both is from FX and embellishments are just part of my stash...just can't keep all the brand names in my head. It's been fun playing with this during our frigid WI weather this week.

MOJO 121 Thinking of You

Paper: CTMH
Stamp: CTMH
Button: no brand available
Red embroidery thread in button

My friend is having knee replacement surgery in three weeks, so this card will be used to hopefully cheer him. It's amazing how many people I know who have gone through some kind of "replacement" this past year....hope to stay out of that group!

MOJO 120 VALENTINE

Happy Valentine's Day a little early! Even after Christmas there's a reason to continue working in red. Speaking of Christmas, I bought myself a gift, an Epic Six, so am having some fun with embossing and die cuts.

For this project I used my Nestabilities die cuts for the circles, and two different Cuttlebug embossing folders (Heart Blocks and Floral Fantasy) to "jazz" up the top circle, and black and pink rectangles. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the black lacey effect near the bottom. The embellishments are from my "stash" and I no longer have the labels for the pink and read heart and the pink dots. I like how they look together even though they're different materials. The ribbon is also from my scrap pile it's now time to buy more. All paper is from the Paper Studio.

I was most challenged with the circles and how to fit the black one into the scheme, and tucking it under the top three and behind the black / red rectangle seemed to work best. It made the other colors pop a little better.

Thanks for the interesting design. I hope there are parts of my project you've enjoyed.

MOJO 119 Life is Fabulous

I will probably use this card for a friend's February birthday....day after Valentine's Day. The colors just work without being an "official" Valentine. I'd thought about coloring the woman and / or her hat, but I grew to like the black and white with a tiny red embellishment.

MOJO 118 VALENTINE

I needed a break from Christmas cards so it was fun to think about Valentine's Day. The paper is from Paper Studio, the ribbon from FXribbon, and the small hearts....no longer have the package to tell you! Sorry! The circle and heart boarder punches are all from Paper Studio as well.

I'd love MOJO to try a background with diagonals sometime just for a change. Let's see if anyone reads this for a new idea!
